Redundancies of groups of people – anything from small groups to large scale restructures – need to be handled carefully to avoid bad PR. This will maximise the continuity of support that people need to import and provide real benefits to them. It also shows best-practice by your organisation, at a time when sometimes tough, seemingly unpalatable decisions are being made for the wider good of the company or to result in its closure.
The philosophy of group outplacement support centres on people working together when they are all experiencing similar circumstances and learning from each other during the process as well. Whilst recognising the need for a collaborative effort through interactive workshops, we also recognise that it is important that individuals also have the opportunity to meet on a one-to-one, confidential basis with their consultant.
